Spring tip – Heavy-duty cleaner

Application and techniques / By Team ROMFIX

Stubborn dirt? Use our heavy-duty cleaner

Sometimes sweeping or pressure washing is not enough to get paving clean. Stubborn dirt, old coatings and deposits require a more powerful approach. Our heavy-duty cleaner is designed for this. This alkaline liquid cleaner is specially developed to remove heavy soiling from paving effectively.

How do you use the heavy-duty cleaner?

  1. Dilute the product according to the level of soiling. Use a milder solution for light soiling and a stronger concentration for heavy soiling.
  2. Apply the cleaner evenly to the paving. Use a scrubbing broom to distribute it thoroughly.
  3. Allow a short working time to loosen the dirt. Keep the product from drying out completely.
  4. Scrub the surface with a stiff broom to loosen the dirt.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, preferably using a garden hose. Planning to use a pressure washer? Read hier for our tips on getting the best results.

Which paving is suitable for the heavy-duty cleaner?

The cleaner is suitable for concrete paving, such as paving blocks and patio slabs, alkali-resistant natural stone, and industrial floors such as garages and workshops.

Please note! Do not use on acid-sensitive natural stone such as marble or limestone. Always test a small, inconspicuous area first to check for discolouration or damage.

What types of dirt can the heavy-duty cleaner remove?

  • Stubborn dirt and encrusted deposits.
  • Old coatings and gloss finishes
  • Polymer and synthetic resin residues.
  • Grease and oil stains on concrete and stone.

Our advice: Use our heavy-duty cleaner in spring to tackle these problems. Combine it with regular sweeping for a lasting clean and tidy finish.
