ARDEX SK-M 15/30 is a TRICOM sealing collar for waterproofing pipe penetrations with an outside diameter of 15 to 30 mm. It consists of thin, stretchable, coated polypropylene fleece with an expansion zone in the centre. This makes the collar easier to fit over pipes and forms a reliable seal around the penetration.
The collar is part of the ARDEX TRICOM waterproofing system and can be used with all ARDEX waterproofing systems. It is waterproof, weather-resistant, highly tear-resistant and extensible. It also resists alkalis and aggressive agents, making it suitable for demanding conditions.
ARDEX SK-M 15/30 is a system component for reliably sealing pipe penetrations in walls and floors. Its compact size and flexible construction make it easy to fit in a variety of details.
Application instructions
- Suitable for pipe penetrations with an external diameter of 15 to 30 mm.
- Use only as part of the ARDEX TRICOM waterproofing system or in combination with
- ARDEX waterproofing systems.
- Product thickness: approximately 0.5 mm.
- Dimensions: approximately 140 x 140 mm.
- Weight: approximately 6 grams per piece.
- Burst pressure: approximately 1.5 bar.
- Frost test at -20°C: no cracks.
- Shelf life: approximately 24 months in unopened original packaging. Store in a cool, dry place.
Step-by-step guide
- Check that the pipe penetration falls within the 15 to 30 mm range.
- Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and suitable for waterproofing.
- Apply the chosen ARDEX waterproofing system in accordance with the system build-up.
- Position the sealing collar over the pipe penetration with the expansion zone in the centre.
- Press the sealing collar firmly into the waterproofing system to ensure full contact.
- Complete the waterproofing in accordance with the instructions for the ARDEX system being used.
