Product information
ARDEX A 46 is a stable levelling compound for filling, repairing and levelling floors and walls in layers from 2 to 30 mm. It can fill holes, recesses, uneven areas, channels, cracks and damaged sections. It is also particularly suitable for levelling and repairing stair treads and landings.
This mortar can be used indoors and outdoors on concrete, cement screeds, masonry, plaster and other suitable mineral substrates. ARDEX A 46 is resistant to frost and de-icing salts, suitable for underfloor heating and can be used as a wearing surface under normal loads.
Its stable consistency makes it easy to shape and finish. It can be sanded and smoothed, making it useful for repairs, forming falls and levelling transitions in floor surfaces. It is designed as a substrate for tiling, paint and coatings.
Application instructions
- Mengverhouding circa 6 tot 7 liter water op 25 kg poeder. 
- Verwerkingstijd circa 15 tot 20 minuten. 
- Aan te brengen in laagdiktes van 2 tot 30 mm. 
- Ready for foot traffic after approximately 2 to 3 hours.
- Verwerken bij temperaturen boven +5°C. 
- Bescherm de egalisatielaag tegen te snelle droging door zonlicht en tocht. 
- Voor gebruik onder coatings en verflagen met hogere hechttrekvereisten moet ARDEX A 46 met verdunde ARDEX E 100 worden gemengd.
Step-by-step guide
- Zorg dat de ondergrond vlak, stevig, draagkrachtig en vrij van scheidende lagen is. De ondergrond mag droog of vochtig zijn. 
- Dicht scheuren en voegen eerst correct af, bijvoorbeeld met een geschikt ARDEX harsproduct. 
- Breng op zuigende en ruwe minerale ondergronden eerst een dunne kraslaag ARDEX A 46 aan en werk daarna nat-in-nat verder in de gewenste laagdikte. 
- Strijk niet-zuigende en gladde minerale ondergronden eerst voor met ARDEX EP 2000 en strooi deze in met ARDEX QS kwartszand. 
- Meng 25 kg poeder met circa 6 tot 7 liter schoon water tot een klontvrij mengsel. 
- Breng het product aan in de gewenste laagdikte van 2 tot 30 mm en werk het oppervlak af. 
- Nabewerken zoals schuren, gletten of randen bijwerken kan al na ongeveer 10 tot 20 minuten na aanbrengen.
