ARDEX A 930 is a low-stress mortar for levelling, repairing and smoothing walls and ceilings indoors and outdoors. It can be applied in layers from 3 to 30 mm and used as a substrate for tiling, other coverings and painting. It can also fill joints in precast concrete ceiling elements.
The mortar is easy to apply by hand or machine. When mixed, it forms a smooth, stable mortar that is easy to apply in thin or thick coats. Once dry, it remains vapour-permeable. ARDEX A 930 can also be pumped, sanded and smoothed, making it suitable for a wide range of renovation and finishing work.
ARDEX A 930 is suitable for substrates including concrete, aerated concrete, masonry, sand-lime bricks, tiles, natural stone, gypsum blocks, gypsum plaster and lime-cement mortars. At normal temperatures, tiling can begin after approximately 3 to 4 hours. The levelling coat must be completely dry before painting, wallpapering or applying other finishes. Under optimum conditions, drying takes approximately 24 hours per 5 mm of thickness.
Application instructions
- Mengverhouding circa 4,2 liter water op 20 kg poeder.
- Verwerkingstijd circa 60 minuten bij +20°C.
- Aan te brengen in laagdiktes van 3 tot 30 mm.
- Verdere bewerking is na circa 2 uur mogelijk.
- Tegels kunnen na ongeveer 3 tot 4 uur worden aangebracht als de laag voldoende is verhard. 
- Apply at temperatures above +5°C.
- Niet gebruiken als basispleister.
Step-by-step guide
- Zorg dat de ondergrond droog, vast, belastbaar en vrij van stof, vuil en scheidende lagen is.
- Verwijder oude, slecht hechtende verflagen, los stucwerk en behang volledig.
- Maak gladde betonnen oppervlakken indien nodig ruw door zandstralen, gritstralen of frezen.
- Maak sterk zuigende ondergronden vooraf nat of gebruik een geschikte primer uit het ARDEX programma.
- Meng 20 kg ARDEX A 930 met circa 4,2 liter schoon water en roer na 1 minuut rijping nogmaals door.
- Breng de mortel aan in de gewenste laagdikte van 3 tot 30 mm en werk het oppervlak af.
- Voor gladde oppervlakken kan de laag na droging worden geschuurd, gepleisterd of met een spaan worden afgestreken.
