Paving spacers 3 mm

These paving spacers 3 mm have been specially developed to lay patio slabs or ceramic tiles with consistent spacing, allowing the joints to be finished later with a suitable jointing mortar to prevent weed growth.

Prevent edge damage by laying your tiles with spacers. The spacer arms can be snapped off so that they can also be used along the edge of the garden. These 3 mm spacers are an essential aid when laying tiles, including ceramic tiles.

Tip! Never remove the spacers during installation. This prevents the tiles from shifting.

How many 3 mm paving spacers do I need?

The number of spacers required depends on the area of paving you plan to lay. We recommend using 2 spacers per side of each tile. The smaller the tiles, the more spacers you will need.

Example: you have paved 30 m² with 60×60 cm tiles. Use 12 spacers per m², giving a total of 360 spacers for the full 30 m².

Consistent joint spacing

The 3 mm spacers make it easier to apply jointing mortar to newly laid paving. Place them at tile junctions or stand them upright. The jointing mortar prevents weed growth in the long term, especially when the paving is laid on drainage bedding mortar.
