Product information

The Lithofin MN Betoncoating Black makes concrete paving easier to maintain and improves its appearance. It forms a thin, transparent layer that protects the surface against damage, soiling and wear. It also gives the surface an elegant black finish.

Application instructions

• The substrate must be clean, dry and absorbent.
• Always test the product on a trial area first.
• Protect surrounding surfaces from splashes.
• Do not use on glazed or polished surfaces.
• Unsuitable for surfaces subject to heavy mechanical loads.
• Apply at a surface temperature of approximately 15°C to 25°C.

Step-by-step guide

1. Make sure the substrate is clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
2. First remove efflorescence, cement residues and limescale with Lithofin Terrassenreiniger.
3. Shake the product well and pour it into a paint tray or bucket.
4. If necessary, use a brush to coat the edges and corners first.
5. Apply the coating evenly with a roller.
6. Apply a second thin coat after approximately 1 to 2 hours for a better finish.
7. Allow the surface to dry before using it again.
