Bloemendaal slope
A slope in Bloemendaal
On behalf of Meker Tuinen we fitted this slope with our R’Cel.
A 45-degree slope
When slopes are covered with soil alone, all the soil washes away during a rain shower. Meker Tuinen asked us to develop a solution.Â
We installed our R’Cel on the slope to create a strong honeycomb structure. The cells were anchored with timber stakes. The anchoring keeps the honeycomb structure in place and distributes the load evenly. The correct anchoring depends on the slope angle and length. Our engineers are happy to advise on the best solution.
Finally, we filled the honeycomb cells with topsoil. This allows the slope to be planted and gives the plants optimal conditions for root growth.
