How do I make a warranty claim?

Send your claim, preferably with photographs, to info@romfix.nl or call us on +31 (0) 88 888 4 176. We will assess the situation and contact you.

Should I keep proof of purchase or other documentation?

Yes. Always keep your invoice and, where applicable, the supporting technical documentation or system recommendations. These help us assess your warranty claim promptly.

Who is the system warranty for?

Landscape and paving contractors
Professionals working on heavy-duty or complex projects
Infrastructure and civil engineering contractors
Municipalities, provincial authorities and water authorities
Architects and engineering consultancies wishing to include a warranty in the project specification

When do you qualify for the five-year system warranty?

You qualify for the ROMFIX system warranty when:

You are, or work with, an approved installer. Our approved installers have a high level of technical knowledge and the experience needed to install the system correctly. They follow the ROMFIX installation guidelines.
ROMFIX has provided advice in advance: ROMFIX provides advice at an early stage to ensure the system suits your requirements. Before the project starts, our specialists assess:
- subgrade
- application and loading
- layer thickness
- suitable material selection
- risks and points requiring attention
ROMFIX products are specified: The materials (drainage bedding mortar, bonding slurry and two-component paving jointing mortar) must be included in:
- the project specification, or
- the technical description of the works
The paving has been installed in accordance with the ROMFIX system build-up: You must be able to demonstrate that all components have been used, namely:
1. ROMFIX drainage bedding mortar
2. ROMFIX Hechtmiddel (bonding slurry)
3. ROMFIX two-component epoxy jointing mortar

What does the ROMFIX system warranty cover?

When you use the complete ROMFIX system build-up, we guarantee that the paving will remain stable, durable and low-maintenance for five years. The warranty covers the performance of:

ROMFIX drainage bedding mortar
ROMFIX Hechtmiddel (bonding slurry)
ROMFIX two-component paving jointing mortar (epoxy jointing mortar)

These products are designed to work together for optimum performance, with each product reinforcing the others. The warranty therefore applies only when the complete ROMFIX system is used.
