How do I make a warranty claim?

What does the ROMFIX system warranty cover?

When you use the complete ROMFIX system build-up, we guarantee that the paving will remain stable, durable and low-maintenance for five years. The warranty covers the performance of:

ROMFIX drainage bedding mortar
ROMFIX Hechtmiddel (bonding slurry)
ROMFIX two-component paving jointing mortar (epoxy jointing mortar)

These products are designed to work together for optimum performance, with each product reinforcing the others. The warranty therefore applies only when the complete ROMFIX system is used.

Does ROMFIX provide a warranty if the drainage bedding mortar is laid on an unsuitable base?

No. The warranty applies only if the product has been used in accordance with our guidelines.

My paving slabs are sinking. Is this covered by the warranty?

Only if the drainage bedding mortar is the cause. Settlement caused by an inadequate base is not covered by the warranty. If you have any questions, please contact customer service.

Is blocked drainage covered by the warranty?

No. Blockages caused by leaves, sand or dirt are not covered by the warranty.
