ROMFIX weed-resistant polymeric sand is a durable, very fine jointing sand suitable for every type of paving with joint widths from 1 millimetre. Its ease of application makes this polymeric jointing sand a popular choice among DIY users and professionals in landscaping and road construction. It is particularly suitable for jointing paving bricks and other paving with narrow joints (>1 mm). ROMFIX polymeric jointing sand is mainly used for patios, driveways and garden paths, and is widely used in municipal projects as an environmentally friendly, long-term way to prevent weed growth, insects and dirt in paving joints. The polymeric sand is available in three colours: neutral, stone grey and basalt. This choice of colours means ROMFIX always has a colour to suit your paving. As the name suggests, ROMFIX Polymeerzand is jointing sand containing a polymer additive. This polymer is transparent and therefore leaves no haze on the paving. Adding water causes the jointing sand to harden, making it especially difficult for weeds to become established. Thanks to its high compressive strength, this jointing compound is easy to apply to both new and existing paving made from ceramic tiles, natural stone, concrete slabs, paving bricks, cobbles, flagstones and all types of paving with a rough surface. ROMFIX weed-resistant polymeric jointing sand contains no additives derived from fine dust. The polymer additive keeps the jointing sand slightly flexible, reducing the risk of it cracking if the substrate settles.

Tip! Apply ROMFIX polymeric jointing sand only in dry weather and on clean paving. Is rain forecast within 24 hours? Postpone application! Clear the joints with a leaf blower, for example, before you start jointing.
